A huge thank you to Suzi and Julie for hosting the Ceremony, Reception, assistance with planning decorations, connecting us with key people and their wonderful friendship to Gus and Liv.
To those friends and family that would like to give gifts - With being in Mexico for at least 6 months of the year and not sure where we will settle back in the States, it is hard to receive actual gifts. We would be able to use and enjoy Amazon gift cards or monetary gifts and that would be easy for us to receive and use. Thank you.

We are super excited to have you come visit our ‘new to us’ home town. As a small mexican fishing town, Los Barriles has a lot of charm with a draw of pickleball and kite surfing. To make sure you have a lovely time there are some things you need to be aware of and prepared for:
Cash is King down here, yes there are a few place that take cards, but having pesos (NOT dollars) is important.
There are no uber’s, bus’s or shuttles in town. Golf carts, atv’s, rental vehicles, bikes or walking is the way to go!
LB is a small town and very safe however with lots to explore. Hiking, pickleball, beach, waterfalls, etc….
Airport & Transportation:
Fly into: Cabo San Jose - Los Barriles is about a 50 min drive north from the Cabo airport.
Shuttle Info: Eduardo // +1-624-161-6611 // Bajataxi@hotmail.com
Los Barriles is a small town and you can access most things by walking. However to get to the Ceremony it is about 2.5 miles away from town. From our place in Colina Del Sol we are about 3.5 miles away from the highway 1.
Places to Eat:
La Gaviota - cash and credit card
El Viejo - cash only
La Casita - cash only

Liv & Gus
our Story:
.Liv and Gus officially met years ago when their mutal friends (Laura and Charles) invited a bunch of people to go to the Full Moon Paddle at Union Res in Longmont, CO. There were many holidays, parties, activities and events they both attended, but never talked.
Fast Forward 3 to 4 years later to summer of 2019 when Liv is on a solo roadtrip backpacking, hiking, etc… in the Ouray area. Too tired to drive all the way back to Boulder she took a chance and texted Gus to see if he had a drive way she could car camp. He said he did and so Liv drove 4 hours to his place. Gus greeted Liv with dinner and let her use his shower. They spent the rest of the night, yes the whole night, talking about everything. That is when something started.
From there Gus and Liv started texting, long phone calls, weekend concerts, roadtrips, camping, biking and more. 6 weeks later they were offically ‘boyfriend / girlfriend’. The rest is history. Nope, just joking. They talked of traveling to Europe, covid hit and the plans changed to Mexico. Once in baja Mexico they fell in love with the simple life, the community and nature. After 2 winters in Baja they found/bought property and have built a home.
They can not wait to get married and make thing offical while also sharing the place they call home with close friends and family.
The Proposal:
Gus wanted to take live to New York to meet his dad and show her where he grew up. So Christmas 2022 they flew to New York City and give her the big apple tour. Christmas Day they were in bed relaxing when Gus mentioned that he had a present for Liv. Liv was a bit upset because they agreed on one present each this year and she had got her present on Christmas Eve. Gus told her to come to the edge of the bed and close her eyes. Trying to be a good sport she did so. She heard some noises and was thinking perhaps he has chocolate for her - which would be an ok 2nd Christmas present. When Liv was given permission to open her eyes she saw Gus on his knee with a ring in his hand. That is when Gus proposed and of course Liv said ‘yes’.
They spent the rest of the day celebrating by walking around a really cold New York City, eating bagels, drinking tea in coffee shops to stay warm. The best Christmas present ever.
